An art lighthouse in the park center — a 360-degree screen surface transforming architectural form into a living kaleidoscope of summer images. Content seamlessly envelops the entire structure, smoothly transitioning between various artistic styles and images. The content plays with visitors' visual associations, transforming summer treats — ice cream, watermelons, berries — into abstract forms and returning them to recognizable silhouettes, creating an ever-changing beacon of summer pleasures.
We reimagined the traditional lighthouse function, transforming it from a navigational object into an emotional landmark. We assembled an interdisciplinary team of artists and musicians to create two multimedia shows broadcast every evening throughout summer. Working with light and content allowed us to transform a static structure into a dynamic object, changing the park space's appearance and setting new scenarios for visitor interaction with the environment.
The project involved four independent teams. We were responsible for creating a unified content and light management system. We developed an algorithm for automatic show launch by timer, accounting for seasonal sunset time changes. We integrated generative systems with fixed artistic compositions, ensuring uninterrupted object operation throughout the summer season without requiring constant operator presence. We created backup systems and remote monitoring protocols for prompt response to technical difficulties.
